In Namibia, we saw desert-adapted animals welcome the water's annual return to the dry riverbeds. We visited Kolmanskop, a Namibian ghost town in order to photograph abandoned private homes and public buildings. Then we had a terrific "green season" safari in Botswana with non-stop viewings of a great variety of animals.
